Proyecto José Martí

The José Martí Project for International Solidarity, registered with UNESCO in 2003 registered with UNESCO since 2003, is part of a group of institutions that have a close relationship with the with the Office of the Martí Program, Cuba. It constitutes a large network that links education centers, cultural institutions, ministries, at national and international levels. It has mission is to promote, disseminate and encourage the study and the international recognition of Marti's ideology.
In the search to represent the initials of José Martí, a key personality for the Project, it was developed a sign that simulates morphological characteristics of Serif typographies based on geometric shapes.

This union of both characters in the same sign gives singularity and interest to the brand; in addition, its classic typographic features make reference to attributes such as literary and prestigious.
Together with the re-branding it was developed a lunch campaing.
This project achieved the recognicion of being part of the 8th Bienale Iberoamericana de Diseño 2023. This is the most important Latin design event in the world.
